PEPPERMINT ICE CREAM 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk

Microwave on High for 3 minutes.

Add:

Crushed peppermint candy (2/3 jumbo stick or 1 box candy canes)
6 beaten eggs

Microwave 20 minutes on Medium, beating every 5 to 7 minutes.

Strain, then add to:

1 qt. half and half
2 (1/2) pts. whipping cream

Add milk to fill freezer.

Add:

1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. peppermint extract (to taste)

Process in ice cream freezer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
