SWEDISH LACE COOKIES 
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

Pour liquids over dry mixture and mix well. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls 4 inches apart on greased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 325 degrees. Bake only six at a time. Remove from cookie sheet and wrap around greased broomstick or anything round for shaping. Must be done while still very warm to make into roll shape. Makes 2 dozen.
