1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. water
1 can apple pie filling
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice

In small mixer bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, shortening and water. Blend well. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into 9 inch pie pan. Combine pie filling, lemon juice and spice. Pour in center of batter. Do not stir. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
