FRENCH FRIES AU GRATIN 
2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French fried potatoes
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
A little pepper
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3/4 c. evaporated milk

Place unthawed potatoes in shallow casserole. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, cheese, onion. Add milk. Bake covered at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.

Made as is, and it was perfectly delicious! Easy-peasy to prepare, and would make a marvelous side dish for virtually any meat or seafood entree from grilled steak to Salisbury steak to sauteed chicken breasts to barbecued ribs to fried fish fillets, etc, etc.! Thanks so much for sharing! :-)
