PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
whipped or ice cream, for topping

Blend and mix well the first 7 ingredients. Pour into a 13x9-inch lightly buttered pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of mixture. Spread out to cover entire dish. Press cake mix in mixture. Sprinkle pecans on top of cake mix. Press nuts slightly. Drizzle with melted butter.

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
