LOLLIPOPS 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
5 drops food coloring
1/2 tsp. flavoring
Lollipop sticks

Combine sugar, water, and Karo. Heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Then cook with stirring until it reaches a hard crack stage - 300 degrees. (The water test - candy will separate into hard and brittle threads.)

Add coloring and flavoring of choice by stirring in. Lay sticks 4-5 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Drop syrup from tip of spoon. Form 2 inch disks. When cooled, take up from pan and wrap in waxed paper.
