PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 med. can crushed pineapple, unsweetened
5 slices bread

Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time. Beating well after each one with a mixer. Add pineapple (undrained), fold in bread broken into pieces, pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve warm or chilled. Goes great with baked ham.
