FRENCH KISSES 
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
2 sm. pkgs. chocolate chips

Beat eggs to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar, cream of tartar, vanilla, and salt. Continue beating to soft peaks. Fold in nuts and cup of chips. Drop by teaspoon onto a brown paper bag that is placed on a cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
