PECAN WAFFLES | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 eggs, separated 1 1/2 c. milk 5 tbsp. butter, melted 1/4 c. chopped pecans Sift all the dry ingredients together. Beat egg yolks until thick. Combine the beaten yolks with the milk and melted butter and then add the dry ingredients. Add the pecans, mixing only until blended. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the batter. Bake in a hot waffle iron. This recipe serves 4-5. |
