OVEN DEER JERKY 
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. hickory smoke flavoring
1 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 lb. deer meat (1/2 wide, 1/4 thick)

Mix first 7 ingredients together in large bowl. Place meat in bowl with mixture. All meat must be covered. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 200°F. Place meat on cookie sheet by single layers.

Bake at 200°F for 3 hours. Turn meat over 1 1/2 hours before done.

Note: May substitute garlic salt for regular table salt.

Double recipe for larger pieces of meat.
