SCOTT'S PARTY PASTA SALAD | |
Pasta taste best after absorbing flavors in the refrigerator overnight, so when making for a party we usually make it the night before. 1 (16 oz.) pkg. pasta (fettuccine is my favorite for this) 1 (16 oz.) bottle Zesty Italian dressing (we use Kraft) salt and pepper, to taste broccoli cherry tomatoes olives 1/2 red onion, sliced 1 red bell pepper, sliced 1/3 block cheese diced (we use Colby Jack) Note: You can also add any of your favorite vegetables. Boil your pasta for about 10 to 12 minutes, to desired texture. Drain and rinse pasta in cool water, then allow to cool in your refrigerator for about 30 minutes, until cold. Have all of your vegetables chopped, sliced, drained, separated and ready to go. Once your pasta is cool remove from refrigerator and empty into a very large pasta bowl. Add your vegetables and diced cheese then mix by hand. Add some salt and pepper to taste (not too much). Mix by hand, then pour in your bottle of dressing, mix by hand once more. Pasta is mixed and ready! Enjoy! Submitted by: Scott Bowden |
