FRENCH ONION SOUP 
2 1/2 c. thin sliced onions
2 1/2 tbsp. butter
3 cans condensed beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4-6 rounds toasted bread
Grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook onions in butter until lightly browned. Add broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour soup into bowls and float toast on top of each. Sprinkle toast with Parmesan cheese. If desired, place under a preheated broiler until the cheese is lightly browned. Serves 4 to 6.
