STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS | |
1 head cabbage 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. instant rice 1 egg 1 tsp. salt 1 can tomato soup 1 can pizza sauce Place cabbage in boiling water to wilt leaves; remove larger leaves. Combine ground beef, onion, pepper, rice, egg and salt. Roll spoonsful of meat mixture into cabbage leaf; roll. Fasten with toothpick; place in baking dish. Cover with combined tomato soup and pizza sauce. (May replace with 1 quart stewed tomatoes.) Cover dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
