POPPY SEED BREAD | |
3 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/8 c. oil 2 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seed 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring Mix all ingredients 1-2 minutes with electric mixer. Pour into 4 lightly greased small loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until pick comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes and pour frosting glaze over top while still in pan. Let stand 5 more minutes - remove from pans. FROSTING GLAZE: 1/4 c. orange juice 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. each vanilla, butter flavoring and almond flavoring |
