MOM'S SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla (lemon or almond)

Cream butter and sugar. Alternate eggs and flour, mix well. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 hours.
