PHILIPPINE CABBAGE 
1/2 lb. lean pork sausage, seasoned
1/2 c. coarsely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
6 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. chopped tomatoes

Saute sausage, garlic, and onions until sausage is thoroughly cooked. Add cabbage to sausage-onion mixture and continue to cook until cabbage is tender but still crisp, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes just before serving, stirring to mix. Serves 8.
