CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING | |
1 sq. (1 oz.) baking chocolate 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. milk 1/4 c. butter (real butter makes a big difference) 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. nuts (optional) 1. Put chocolate, sugar, milk, butter and salt into 4 cup glass microproof mixing bowl and cook on HI (maximum power) for 2 to 3 minutes or until the chocolate is melted. 2. Stir to mix. Cook on HI for 2 minutes. Stir after 1 minute. 3. Add vanilla and beat with electric mixer until the frosting is almost cool. Add nuts, if you wish, and beat until spreading consistency. This is enough to frost two 9 inch cake layers or a 11x7 inch cake. |
