CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING 
1/4 c. melted shortening or butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. confectioners sugar

Combine melted shortening, cocoa, and salt; add milk and vanilla. Mix in confectioners sugar gradually. Mix until smooth and creamy. Frosts two 8 or 9 inch layers or 13 x 9 inch cake.
