PEACH COBBLER 
Melt 1 stick butter in 9x13 baking dish.

ix together:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fruit (drained) saving juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. fruit juice (water may be added to make 2 c.)

Cut shortening into flour mixture with pastry blender. Add milk. Roll out on floured board. Pour drained fruit onto rolled crust and roll up like a jelly roll. Slice through with knife and line bottom of baking dish (in melted butter) with sliced sections.

Mix sugar and juice together and pour over the fruit and pastry mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees.
