SPANISH FRANKFURTERS 
1/4 c. minced onion
1/4 c. minced green pepper
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 lb. frankfurters, cut into thirds
Hot cooked rice

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large skillet. Simmer 7 to 10 minutes. Add frankfurters. Simmer, covered, 10 additional minutes. Serve over hot rice. Makes 4 servings.
