BEEF, PEPPER & RICE SKILLET | |
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips 2 tbsp. cooking oil 1 c. sliced onion 1 green pepper, chopped 1 c. Uncle Bens rice 1 can beef broth 1 soup can water 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 jar (2 oz.) pimento, drained Brown beef in hot oil in 10 inch skillet. Stir in onion, rice, beef broth, water, soy sauce and 1/2 of the pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is done. About 25 minutes. Stir in remaining green pepper and pimento and heat through. |
