Add applesauce, milk, egg and oil. Mix vigorously with a spoon 30 seconds. Grease well 3 gem pans (small muffin tins). Fill cups 2/3 full with batter. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12 minutes. Melt 1 stick butter. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Dip hot puffs in butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. These are delicious freshly baked and great to serve for a morning coffee. This quantity makes 30 to 40 puffs. Leftovers may be frozen and re-warmed. |
