1/2 lb. ziti macaroni 1 lb. Ricotta cheese 1 sm. pkg. Mozzarella cheese 2 eggs 1/4 c. grated Italian cheese 1 lg. jar Ragu homestyle sauce Cook macaroni in boiling water according to directions on box; drain. In bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, grated cheese and egg; mix well and add macaroni. Add Mozzarella cheese, cut in small cubes. In 9 x 13 inch pan layer sauce, then cheese and macaroni mixture, then sauce. Bake at 325 degrees about 1 hour. OPTIONAL: Cooked sausage or ground beef may be added between layers. Serves 7-8. |
