MOCK APPLE PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. water

Bring water, sugar, and cream of tartar to a rolling boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Drop in 20 Ritz crackers, unbroken and let boil 2 minutes. Lift from fire and let cool. Pour into unbaked shell.
