MOCK APPLE PIE 
2 unbaked pie shells
30 Ritz crackers
Butter
Cinnamon
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar and bring to a boil. Add crackers and boil 2 minutes more. (Do not stir.) Let cool. Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter and cinnamon. Cover top with other unbaked pie dough. Bake at 425 degrees until crust is brown. Serve warm.
