BUCKEYE BALLS 
1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 tbsp. solid shortening

Mix first 4 ingredients. Then shape into balls. Place on cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm. In top double boiler oven, simmering water, melt chocolate chips and shortening. Pour into small bowl. Dip balls into chocolate. Place back on cookie sheet. Return to refrigerator until set and firm.
