ANGEL FOOD DESSERT 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 (10 inch) angel food cake
1/2 pt. heavy cream
1 1/4 c. boiling water

Dissolve Jello in 1 1/4 cups boiling water. Stir in strawberries, add sugar and salt. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in whipped cream. Tear angel cake in pieces.

Cover bottom of a 9-inch pan with half of the torn angel cake. Pour half of the strawberry and cream mixture over the piece of cake. Make another layer of cake and pour remaining mixture over it. Cool 4 to 5 hours.
