LOW - SUGAR OATMEAL COOKIES 
6 1/2 c. sugar
6 sticks butter (1 lb. 8 oz.)
2 tbsp. baking soda
6 c. oats (old fashioned)
2 c. milk
9 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

In extra large bowl mix all ingredients with your hands. Shape into 3 x 16 inch rolls - makes 6 rolls. These freeze well if put in zip-lock bags or wrapped in foil. Slice and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes at 375 to 400 degrees. Makes about 600 cookies. Can freeze and bake as needed.
