LOW-FAT, LOW CHOLESTEROL OATMEAL
COOKIES
 
1 1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
6 egg whites
2 c. rolled oats
3 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins (soaked in hot water and drained)

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream margarine and sugars. Gently fold in the egg whites. Add remaining ingredients.

Roll rounded tablespoon of cookie dough in sugar. Put them on greased cookie sheet and press with floured fork.

Bake in a 375°F oven for 12 minutes, cool.

Makes 6 dozen cookies.
