ITALIAN AMERICAN MEAT LOAF 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 eggs, beaten
1 onion, minced
1/2 c. celery, minced
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato sauce
Salt
Pepper

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix meats together in large bowl by hand. Add eggs, onion, celery, bread crumbs, milk, ketchup, basil, oregano and crushed red pepper. Mix and shape into a loaf on a large shallow baking pan.

3. Bake for 1 hour, remove from oven.

4. Mix stewed tomatoes with tomato sauce and pour over meat loaf, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

5. Bake for additional 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
