OKRA CREOLE 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 c. sliced okra
1 sm. can tomato sauce
3/4 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. corn
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook the onion and green pepper in bacon drippings in a saucepan until onion is golden, stirring frequently. Add the okra and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add remaining ingredients and cover. Can add about 1/4 cup more onions here, simmer about 20 to 30 minutes. Very good.
