APPLE CRUMB PIE 
1 unbaked pie shell
Melted butter
4 lg. Granny Smith apples
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. sugar
1/8 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. BLAIR apple pie spice
6 tsp. cold unsalted butter, cut up
1 tsp. BLAIR vanilla flavoring

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
Salt to taste
1/2 c. butter, cut into flour, sugar & salt
1 oz. pecan pieces
1/4 tsp. BLAIR allspice

FOR THE PIE: Brush pie shell with melted butter. Combine sugars, flour and spices and pour over apples. Mix well. Fill pie shell with filling and dot with butter pieces.

FOR THE TOPPING: Combine all topping ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle over top of pie and bake at 350 degrees until done and bubbly. Yield: 1 pie.
