BUTTER CRUMB APPLE PIE | |
6 c. pared apples 1/2 to 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. flour 9 inch pie shell CRUMB MIXTURE: 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 1/2 c. brown sugar Mix ingredients. Put in an unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Mix together the crumb mixture and sprinkle on top. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce to 350 degrees and finish baking (approximately 45 minutes). |
