BRUNCH EGG CASSEROLE | |
8 slices bacon 4 c. plain croutons 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 8 slightly beaten eggs 4 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Spread plain croutons in the bottom of a 13"x9"x2" baking dish. Sprinkle the cheese and bacon atop croutons. Combine the eggs, milk, salt, onion salt and pepper; pour over cheese and bacon. Bake in 325 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 10 servings. |
