PERFECT PIE CRUST 
4 c. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg

Mix together first 3 ingredients add shortening and mix until crumbly. Beat together in small bowl: 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 egg. Add to flour mixture and stir until ingredients are moist.

Divide dough into 5 balls. Wrap each in plastic bag and refrigerate about 1/2 hour before rolling. Keep in refrigerator 3 days or can be stored in the freezer. Should make 4 to 5 perfect pie crusts. Add fillings for your favorite recipe.
