ITALIAN CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 c. + 1 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 oz.) pkg. coconut
5 beaten egg whites

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream and mix first 7 ingredients. Add coconut and fold in beaten egg whites. Grease and flour 2 (9") pans or Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

ICING: Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add nuts.
