1 pkg. spinach, thawed and well drained
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped fine
3 green onion tops, chopped (optional)

Mix all ingredients together in bowl and chill. Great with fresh cut vegetables or served on pumpernickel bread.
