2 c. vinegar
2 c. water
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 sticks cinnamon
2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves

Bring to boil pour over cooked beets. Fill sterile jar, seal with new rings and lids.
