BANANA NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. sweet milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan meats
3 med. bananas

Mash bananas first and add one teaspoon baking soda to keep from turning dark. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, then milk, flour and vanilla. Add nuts and banana mixture to above. Cook in two 9 inch cake pans at 350 degrees. Ice with your favorite icing. I use the Satiny Beige Icing.
