ZESTY SAUERKRAUT SALAD 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water

Boil the above ingredients then cool. Add 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped celery, 1 small red pepper, 1 small green pepper (chopped), 1 large can sauerkraut (drained). Mix and chill overnight. Very good with any kind of meat.
