HAM AND YAM PATTIES 
2 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes, sieved
1 1/2 c. ground, cooked cured ham
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 tbsp. fresh milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Corn flakes, crushed
3 tbsp. butter and olive oil (half each)

In a skillet, heat oil and butter.

In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients and form patties. Sauté in skillet turning to brown both sides. Press down lightly in middle with spatula. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
