OREO COOKIE CAKE 
1 1/4 lb. pkg. Oreo cookies
2 sticks butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
2 large Cool Whips
1 large Jell-O instant chocolate pudding
1 can cherry pie filling

Crush cookies and pour melted butter over crumbs. Stir and mash into large pan or dish. Chill while doing next step. Mix cream cheese, sugar and 1 Cool Whip until smooth. Spread over cookie crust. Chill. Mix pudding and spread over last layer. Spread the second Cool Whip over pudding. Chill for several hours. When ready to serve, spread cherry pie filling on top. (May be frozen until ready to serve.)
