HOT CURRIED FRUIT 
4 cans Del Monte "fruits for salads"
1 can black cherries
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3 tsp. curry powder
1/2 c. melted butter
2/3 c. slivered almonds

Drain fruit well. Add sugar and curry powder to melted butter. Put fruit and nuts in layers. Pour butter mixture over layers. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Can be reheated at 300 degrees. Serves 10 to 12.
