RUTH ANN'S REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
Dissolve 2 pkgs. of yeast in 2 cups warm water. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup oil, 1 egg, 2 teaspoons salt and about 3 1/2 cups flour. Beat well with electric mixer. Add 3 to 3 1/2 cups more flour. Beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Make into rolls, place in greased pan, cover and let rise 2 to 3 hours until light. Bake in 375 degree oven about 20 minutes. Dough will keep several days in refrigerator. CHURCH SUPPER RECIPE 6 pkgs. yeast 6 c. water 1 1/2 c. sugar 6 tsp. salt 3/4 c. oil 3 eggs 5 lbs. flour (plus about 1 c.) Mix and bake as directed. Rolls can be made out and allowed to raise slowly in refrigerator. This recipe makes about 10 to 12 dozen. |
