NEOPOLITAN POUND CAKE | |
16 oz. pkg. pound cake mix 1/4 c. Hershey's syrup 1/4 c. Hershey's mini chips 1/4 tsp. unsweetened strawberry flavored drink mix Ice cream and additional Hershey's syrup Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan and line bottom with wax paper; set aside. Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Divide into 3 portions, about 1 1/3 cups each. Stir Hershey's syrup and mini chips into one portion; set aside. Stir strawberry flavored drink mix into second portion. Pour strawberry batter into prepared pan. Gently spoon and spread plain batter onto strawberry batter in pan. Top with chocolate batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until cake tester inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 to 15 minutes in pan. Carefully run a knife along sides of pan to loosen cake. Remove cake from pan onto wire rack to cool completely. Serve with ice cream and additional Hershey's syrup. |
