HOT MILK POUND CAKE 
4 eggs, room temp.
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. butter
1 stick or 1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. hot milk
2 tsp. baking powder

"Slow Speed" Beat eggs well, adding sugar gradually, continue beating until sugar mixture is thick and creamy.

"Medium Speed" Add vanilla and butter extract. Sift flour and baking powder, pour in slowly. Add hot milk and melted butter, pouring slowly.

Cold Oven: Turn oven to 350 degrees. Bake one hour. Use bundt cake pan, slightly greased.

ICING:

1/2 box powdered sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 or 3/4 c. can cream

Pour over cake after it's cold. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans if desired.
