ORANGE - LEMON POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. orange extract
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and shortening. Add 1 egg at a time. Pour extract into buttermilk. Add part flour. Add milk and rest of flour. Bake at 325 degrees until light brown in tube pan.

ICING:

Bring to boil: juice of one orange, one lemon and one cup sugar. Pour boiling mixture over cake. Cake even better if it sits overnight.
