FRIED CORNMEAL MUSH 
2 c. cornmeal
4 c. water
Butter, maple syrup, honey or fruit

Bring water to a boil, add cornmeal stirring to remove lumps. Cook until thick. Spread in greased loaf pan; cool. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use. Slice into 1/2 inch thick slices and fry in oil until browned. Serve hot with butter, maple syrup, honey or fruit.
