SPANISH FRIED RICE 
1 c. rice
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 green onion
2 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. oil
1/8 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cilantro
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

In large skillet add oil and rice. Fry until lightly brown, stirring constantly. Carefully add water and tomato sauce. Cut green onion and add to rice. Add salt, cumin, cilantro and garlic powder.

Bring to a boil. Put lid on skillet and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is all gone. (Do not stir while simmering.)
