Popeye's Biscuits

I just tried this recipe... Although I kinda winged it by scaling it way down to a bit less than 1-1/2 cups of biscuit mix, I made the tastiest biscuits I ever had from home or anywhere for that matter. I also cubed a little over a tablespoon of butter into the mixture before working it.

I am a lover of Popeyes biscuits, and these came pretty damn close, they were a hit with my girlfreinds awesome chicken and dumpling soup!

Great biscuits! Did not have sour cream, used plain Greek yogurt. Halved the recipe. Added melted butter over the tops before baking. Easy, quick & awesome. :)

These are great! And; they just beg for some chicken gravy for dunking.

I was a little afraid about trying. I was thinking a little over exaggerated, but I tried it! Once my mom and siblings bit into it their faces lit up. I must say these biscuits are extremely close to popeyes and I will continue to make them ;)

My mom made these biscuits because we're super obsessed with Popeyes biscuits. Going there at least once or twice a week I must say they were amazing, smelt fantastic, and even had a nice texture. They are as close as a knock off recipe can get to making Popeyes biscuits! I would definitely recommend!!
